The Sims 2 on XBox, PS2, GameCube, Nintendo DS, and Gameboy Advance has gone gold! The games should be in stores everywhere by October 26th.

Sims Awards 2005In a collaboration with EA Benelux, SNW will be handing out 30 duo tickets for the Sims Awards 2005 in Oostende, Belgium on October 20, 2005. Would you like to be there? You can bring a friend! Just go to our Sims Awards 2005 page and enter your name, username on SNW, your age, your mail address and tell us why we should pick you. Are you younger than 13? Then you should also enter the name and phone number of (one of) your parents.

On October 20 there will be another edition of the Sims Awards. Would you like to win a special backstage badge, and interview all the VIP's? Then enter the contest to become a reporter!

As a reporter you're not just going to enjoy the Award show, but after the show, you will be going to the VIP party. There you will be in the same room with all the winners and other celebrities.

The official release date for The Sims 2 on consoles and handhelds has been announced: On October 26th fans in the US will be able to buy Sims 2 on Xbox, PS2, GameCube, DS and GBA. PSP will be released a little later. Fans from The Netherlands and Belgium will be able to buy the games around the same date.

Last year we all enjoyed the Glass Sims House. This year another edition of the real life Glass Sims House will take place. You can read about the plans here!

EA has built a really special house last year: a house of glass! This house inhabited an actual family for 4 days. This family experienced the life of a Sim during these days. The community participated in all of this by giving the family assignments.

This year there will be another glass house! Of course you will all have part in this and you can win great prizes.
