‘Spore’ Impressions Breakthrough: It’s A Game After All
SporeNetwork redesign in progress.

Tired of your planet?
Spore is your own personal universe. You can create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilisations, sculpt worlds, and explore the cosmos.

Spore is made up of five games, each corresponding to a stage of evolution: Cell, Creature, Tribe, Civilisation, and Space. Each stage presents different challenges and goals.

You may choose to start with the Cell game and nurture one species from its humble aquatic origins to its evolution as a sentient species. Or you may decide to start building tribes or civilisations on multiple planets. What you do with your universe is limited only by your imagination and curiosity. Where do you want to go? Why only two eyes? Are you a galactic ambassador of peace, or a space tyrant? It's up to you.

As you set out to create your universe, there are a variety of creation tools at your disposal. With these tools you can develop every aspect of your universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, even starships.

While Spore is a single player game, your creations and other players' creations are automatically shared between your galaxy and theirs, providing a limitless number of worlds to explore and play within.

  • CREATE Your Universe from Microscopic to Macrocosmic: From tide pool amoebas to thriving civilisations to intergalactic starships, everything is in your hands.
  • EVOLVE Your Creature through Five Phase: It’s survival of the funnest as your choices reverberate through generations and ultimately decide the fate of your civilisation.
  • EXPLORE Other Players’ Galaxies: Will your creature rule the universe, or will your beloved planet be blasted to smithereens by a superior alien race?
  • SHARE with the World: Everything you make is shared with other players and vice versa, providing tons of cool creatures to meet and cool places to visit.
