Producer blog on the SimAnimals Africa website.

SimAnimals AfricaHey! It's Michaela again, this time I want to tell you a little about the Temple of Life. This special place houses the Tree of Life, the amazing tree that brings health and magic to all of the surrounding lands. Soon enough, you'll get to see it for yourself!

I have been travelling in Africa for a long time now. I visited the beautiful plains of the Fahari Savanna, I have seen the elegant giraffes of the Long Neck Plateau, and I most recently ventured down the Mwamba River, the home of the deadly but docile crocodiles.

Animals from every land have helped me finally make it to The Temple of Life. When I was lost the gazelles pointed me in the right direction, and when I was confused the Animal Totems told me where to go. I'm tired but enthusiastic because I have just set my eyes on the fabled Tree of Life. It is beautiful beyond imagination.

I have heard tales of a merchant who traveled to the Tree of Life and stole a branch. Eventually its power and beauty corrupted him. I now understand what the merchant felt when he saw this tree so many years ago. Even now, though it is very ill, it is still nothing short of breathtaking. The trunk of the tree is ornately decorated with all sorts of ancient jewels and symbols, and although there isn't anything growing on the tree, the life force that emanates from it is as strong as ever. It is fighting to survive, and I feel so fortunate to be the person who is going to be able to revive this treasure.

There is a lot I have to do in order to save the Tree of Life. Luckily I have a rhino friend named Camilla and a gorilla friend named Monty who are more than willing to help me save the tree. We've got to go get to work right now!

You'll have to find out for yourself what happens next...
